Modern Approaches to Pharmacotherapy Conference in Yerevan
Vahe Meliksetyan Educational-Medical Foundation, National Medical Chamber and Armenian-American Pharmacists Association are jointly organizing a scientific conference on Modern Approaches to Pharmacotherapy: Innovation and Best Practices. The event will take place on July 12, 2024, in the Ararat Hall of Ibis Hotel, Yerevan.
The aim of the conference is to provide up-to-date information on recent developments in healthcare, new clinical data on pharmacotherapy, as well as best practices in the patient care with chronic diseases treated in outpatient settings to family physicians, therapists, and pharmacists. The keynote speakers are experienced pharmacists and doctors from Armenia, as well as from the USA, Australia, and Sweden, will deliver important presentations. The conference has been submitted for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
Conference Organizers:
Vahe Meliksetyan Educational-Medical Foundation was established in 2021 with the aim of developing clinical pharmacy in Armenia. The foundation’s mission is to realize the professional dream of Vahe Meliksetyan, a clinical pharmacist who fell in the 2020 Artsakh War.
National Medical Chamber is the largest professional union in the Republic of Armenia uniting several thousand healthcare workers from various medical institutions of Armenia as members. In last two years alone, about 12,000 healthcare workers were trained through CPD educational programs implemented by the Chamber and accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
Armenian-American Pharmacists Association was established in 1981. The Association unites pharmacists of Armenian descent, creating networking opportunities, funding and educating specialists working in the healthcare system of the Republic of Armenia.
