3,900,000 AMD scholarships to the YSMU Faculty of Pharmacy and the YSU Institute of Pharmacy students from the “Vahe Meliksetyan” Foundation
As in the previous 3 years, this year the “Vahe Meliksetyan” Educational-Medical Foundation provided scholarships to pharmacology students. This year’s application call was open to residents of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology of Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi, bachelor’s and master’s degree students of the same university and YSU Institute of Pharmacy.
There are 11 scholarship beneficiaries in the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Executive Director of the “Vahe Meliksetyan” Foundation, Sargis Meliksetyan mentioned: “I would like to express my gratitude to all of our supporters, and especially the Armenian American Pharmacists’ Association and the 10:30 Club, for their financial support of our scholarship program this year. It is crucial that future clinical pharmacists feel our support on this difficult path of developing the field.”
“Vahe Meliksetyan” Educational-Medical Foundation was established in 2021 with the aim of developing clinical pharmacy in Armenia. The foundation’s mission is to realize the clinical pharmacist, scientist, lecturer of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy of YSMU, and medical service lieutenant Vahe Meliksetyan’s professional dream. In the previous four years, the “Vahe Meliksetyan” Foundation provided more than 28 million AMD – scholarships, tuition fee coverage, educational grants, and training, and conducted large-scale research to identify the prospects for developing clinical pharmacy in the Republic of Armenia.
